About Louise

What I love about my job is that I enable my clients' to achieve their goals; I love seeing their self-esteem build and hearing them tell me they feel good! I am a personal trainer who focuses on quality. In practice this means, I take on a small number of clients and ensure each of them receives a thorough screening, bespoke training sessions and contact between our sessions to help them stay on track.

An essential fundamental for postnatal training is to rehab both the core and the posture that is created through pregnancy and motherhood. Once these fundamentals are established and progressing nicely we continue with them and also work in new goals whether that be fat loss or strength training or something else. After having a baby your anatomy has changed, whether you had a c-section or vaginal delivery, therefore you have to learn how to exercise safely and effectively in your new postnatal body. For example: if you want to return to weight training, you need to apply new techniques for lifting and breathing, or if you prefer HIIT style workouts then it's important to select movements suitable for you that won't reverse any progress you've made.
I make training interesting, effective for your day-to-day life as a mother and varied, no matter what stage you are at.


Outside of work I am a mum to my daughter Ivy. When I get the time I love to run and be outdoors, some of the races I have completed are Man Vs. Mountain (Wales, Snowdonia), Paris Marathon, Spartan races (UK and abroad). In 2020 I am running Berlin Marathon and a marathon trail run along the South West coast. Equally, I love to train in the gym and lift weights, going through strength cycles and hitting personal goals around movements such as deadlifts and pull ups. The goal for me is always to be the fittest healthiest version of myself.
